The ACI (Airport Council International) ranking honours three airports in the VINCI network for their quality of service: Porto, Belgrade and Guanacaste were the best in their category and region; Investment in service quality recognised by passengers, who are responsible for the Airport Quality Service ranking.

• Belgrade airport in Serbia, Porto in Portugal and Guanacaste in Costa Rica named as best airports in their category. • The awards validate the plans implemented by VINCI Airports teams in these airports to support their development.

Transavia France recently operated its first commercial flight on the new Airbus A320neo (registration F-GNEO) with the Paris-Orly and Porto route. Landing at Porto Airport on 15 January at 10.10am, the A320neo will now operate around 20 routes in the company's network of 200 routes and 120 destinations in total.

With the new biometric solution for passengers, travelling will be easier, with no stops and no queues. After registering in the app or at the designated kiosks, passengers no longer need to use their boarding pass or identification documents.

Porto Airport reached 15 million passengers and 100.000 movements in a single year.

VINCI Airports releases second quarter traffic report. Traffic continued to improve in Q2 2023 (24.1% above Q2 2022, 6.7% below Q2 2019) Excluding Asia, traffic was back at its 2019 level in May and June Passenger numbers remain very high in Portugal, Serbia, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Costa Rica

Cabo Verde Airports started yesterday the operation of the Cape Verde airports concession, awarded by the Government of Cape Verde, which includes the airports of Sal, Praia, Boa Vista and São Vicente, as well as the aerodromes of São Filipe, São Nicolau and Maio.

ANA | VINCI Airports presented the New Terminal at Porto Santo Airport, designed to double the Terminal's capacity, and which will contribute to make the airport a carbon net zero emissions one. The works are expected to be concluded by the end of 2025.
