It’s Carnival at Madeira Airport!

Madeira Airports are launching their annual events programme and Carnival is definitely a fun place to start!
The terminal will be taken over by a group of performers who will interact with passenger and tell them a little about Madeira’s past carnivals, definitely one of the highlights of the islands annual events schedule.
The local Ethnographic Museum has organized a display of carnival masks made by local students, on show on the ground floor of the public arrival area, between February 11 and 25.
On February 16, around 11:30am, passengers arriving on the island will be given a special welcome by another local group of entertainers full of joy, colour and music.
