OMNIFLOW LIGHTING

As part of the environmental strategy of ANA|VINCI Airports we are committed to reducing energy consumption, investing in innovative solutions and renewable energy. A pilot project is underway at the Humberto Delgado Airport to replace the public lighting in the external area of the Departures, including the Kiss & Fly Park, with omniflow systems.

The units installed in September 2022 have already allowed a reduction in consumption of more than 90% compared with traditional lighting, since they are based on the following functionalities:

- Energy generation through a solar and wind hybrid system;
- Energy storage in integrated batteries;
- 30 LED lighting at 360º with a maximum power of 90W;
- Omniflow online lighting management system.

The evaluation and validation of the benefits of this solution will allow us to assess the interest in implementing it in other areas.
