OUR AIRPORTS ARE INCREASINGLY POWERED BY GREEN ENERGY

Between 2023 and 2024, with the implementation of all the new 6 photovoltaic stations, the company will have a total installed capacity of 20MWp.

The focus on the production of alternative energies, namely solar, as a way of reducing emissions, led to the photovoltaic station at Faro Airport coming into operation, with an installed capacity of 2.9 MWp and responsible for producing 30% of the energy for the operation of this infrastructure. Currently, projects are already under development for the airports of Porto, Madeira, Porto Santo, Ponta Delgada, Santa Maria, Horta and Lisbon.
