SOLAR STREET LIGHTS

The new "Solar Street Lights" system implemented at Faro airport is one of many projects being implemented to increase energy efficiency and preserving the environment.
At night, lighting is kept to a minimum level and, when there is movement, the level can go up to 100% illuminance. The system is prepared to automatically adjust the hours of operation, which saves batteries and increases the autonomy of the luminaires.
This is another step within the ambitious strategy to reduce energy consumption and emissions of ANA - Aeroportos de Portugal, SA | VINCI Airports.
