Solar Tree

At Faro airport passengers will now find the innovative Solar Tree, outside the terminal. This is a sustainable charging point for mobile phones, computers, tablets, or other small equipment, using solar energy.

A creative project, conceived by an ANA team, and which almost exclusively uses leftover discarded materials. The leaves, whose shape is inspired by the leaves of the fig tree (a tree that is part of the traditional Algarve orchard), support the solar panels that capture the sun's rays, transforming them into green energy.
